Like many volunteer fire districts, the Allegany Indian Reservation Volunteer Fire Department needed a new station to support modern rigs, training activities, and community events. Contracted in 2017, a new $7.6 million fire hall was designed to replace the 45-year old facility. SCMC was tasked with building a new facility on the current site while it maintained operations through construction.

The new fire hall is 17,490 sq. ft., nearly double the square footage of the former space. New amenities include a 5,500 sq. ft. apparatus bay, a 2,000 sq. ft. banquet room that seats 160 people, bunk rooms and offices, male and female locker rooms, breakroom and commercial kitchen. The new fire hall, staffed with fire and EMS personnel, will serve the surrounding residential community for years to come.
